Paul Ingle has will be fighting Manuel Medina for his IBF belt in November after failing to beat Naz in April. Ingle hopes that the fight will help him in his bid to fight Naz by summer 2000.

Paul Ingle has set his sights on Naz again and he’s been given 2 ways of getting the re-match he wants.
The first way is to fight Manuel Medina for the IBF belt, which Naz is after for unification and the other way is a four fight package, one fight against IBO champ Junior Jones offered to him by none other than Prince Promotions, Naz’s management and promotions company!
Says Ingle : “The offer from Prince Promotions is better money-wise, but the IBF belt carries more prestige. If I took that it would be a big step towards fighting Naz again because he wants to unify the titles. Hamed wanted to fight Medina himself so he could hold the IBF belt, but if I hold it, he has got to come looking for me again.”

Paul Ingle has rejected the chance to fight Naz.
Ingle : “The Hamed camp made an improved offer, but it was not improved enough for me to fight him. If I fight Naz I’ve got to make sure I can get enough out of it in case something goes wrong. At the end of the day Naz is shouting after me, I’m not shouting after him. I’ve got options and one of them may be to fight Naz at a later date, possibly in the summer.”
