Prince Naseem Hamed has spoken about how the ‘New Naz’ is much better than the old and has warned Paul Ingle to be prepared.Naz has even moved out of his house and has been staying in Sheffield’s Stakis Hotel only seeing his wife and son some Sundays.
Says Naz : “I’ve never felt so strong in my life and I’ve never punched so hard in my life - I’ve never been so sharp. For the first time in my life I’ve watched videos and studied Paul Ingle and broken him down to every single weakness. It’s a totally different way of training now, a totally different way of thinking. All I do is sleep, eat and train - that’s all I’ve been doing for six weeks. Paul Ingle’s a test. He
brings new stuff to the table and I give him respect. But once we get in the ring the respect goes out of the window. I’m looking forward to a wicked scrap.”

Naseem To Test New Trainer

Naz has been testing out a replacement for trainer Brendan Ingle over a weeklong period, currently tipped as favourite is Puerto Rican Oscar Suarez from New Jersey.
Naz says : “I was tremendously impressed by him. He showed me things about my balance and other ideas I feel I’ve been lacking.”
