Former world boxing champion Naseem Hamed has appeared in court after a crash involving his £300,000 sports car and two other vehicles.Mr Hamed, 31, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates Court after he was charged with dangerous driving last week. The case follows an incident on Ringinglow Road, Sheffield, involving his McLaren-Mercedes.
No pleas were entered and Mr Hamed, of Wyvern Gardens, Dore, was bailed until his next court date on 20 January 2006.
One man was seriously injured in the crash which happened on 2 May.
District Judge Anthony Browne heard no pleas were to be entered and agreed to a request from Steve Smith, defending, for the case to be adjourned.
